NQ Jewellery & Craft Supplies is a locally owned and operated business situated in sunny Townsville North Queensland.
My name is actually Kathleen many of you will know me as Lena - from my earring making days at Love From Lena Designs - which then pivoted to Love from Lena Supplies and now our final rebrand to NQ Jewellery & Craft Supplies (NQ JACS).
NQ JACS came about after I started my first business Love From Lean Designs. I started sewing & also creating earrings while home on maternity leave and not having the desire to return to my previous nursing & shift working position - I wanted to be able to work at home and around my kids and husbands crazy work schedule. Unfortunately, my allergies which have been a lifelong issue didn't love the resin & my hands constantly had severe allergic dermatitis and deep down I knew I had to pivot my business for health reasons...  North Queensland especially lacked suppliers and the desire to start and grow NQ JACS evolved with the support of my husband & Townsville making community.

My family all play various roles in my business - Lucia, Eamon & Jacque who are 8, 18, 20 help out where they can packing orders, sorting stock, standing in the post line to lodge parcels etc. My parents also help where they can & my amazing husband Kevin works quietly behind the scenes helping set up at markets, making stands and lending him his ear when I talk constantly about all the exciting new products I have coming & plans to grow the supplies business!!

I am so proud of how NQ Jewellery & Craft Supplies has grown and evolved over the last few year and I can't wait to continue and share my journey with you.
